This is a very important feature that clearly shows that Techland did not really sleep through the several years of Dead Island’s production process and did not drown PLN 40 million in the mud. If we can see an object in the distance, we will probably always be able to reach it sooner or later. Unfortunately, the problem is that along with the rather weakening history, the style of action also weakens, which is something that is extremely important in such titles.ĭespite this, Banoi can be called a really open to player’s whims. However, we will not focus on the details, as they are not the most important for such titles, because I am the last person to scold the sandbox for the poor storyline. Suffice it to say that the story was explained as idiotically as possible, which may be surprising considering the fact that Techland and Deep Silver have sworn that they will serve a captivating and exciting story with “zombies in the background”. The fictional island of Banoi located in Papua New Guinea is, of course, a place that is the source of the entire conflict between the hero of your choice (one of the four) and swarms of zombies whose goal is only to devour his brain. Let’s start from the beginning, so that you don’t get the impression that we are only prejudiced in ourselves in the right way to produce Techland. Instead, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of zombies to kill and the huge island of Banoi, which can get boring at the very first approach … There is no thrilling action, no sloppy or heart-touching moments. Unfortunately, whether we like it or not, alone Techland’s game had to turn out to be something completely differentthan that show.
